Copyright Important to us but sod the rest?

Most of us, as photographers, consider copyright to be important and have a desire to be protective of our rights under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988. Sadly we do not have an organisation like the Performing Rights Society protecting us. They tend to be very fierce about protecting those who make music.

It makes me wonder how many of the videographers on AF, who are posting videos on AF have done the right thing regarding copyright and the music they are putting in their videos? Have the license fees been paid? Should we be hosting music-tracked video if the license has not been paid?
