There are very valid reasons why James has not and will not suspend the casting facility.
People want to cast for when lockdown finishes etc.
Also we have members from many countries and they should not have the facility taken away from them according to UK laws.
HOWEVER, we are seeing a steady stream of people, mostly models as far as I have seen, putting up castings that blatantly defy the current lockdown rules.
This is selfish and stupid and unlawful. Even if they are managing to find legal loopholes, or ways of getting away with it (!!!) they are clearly NOT complying with the spirit.
During the first lockdown we had some people declaring that they were making lists of people who they would refuse to work with in the future.
This makes a lot of sense.
This industry relies on trust. We trust each other to be responsible about certs and health matters when interacting on set.
If some one is prepared to flout the rules about COVID-19, a serious health risk.
How can they be trusted to comply with the conventions about sexual health?
