I started my artistic career as a sculptor, exhibiting high-fired ceramic figures in various galleries across the country. Eventually I transitioned to the photographic medium but like to think the work remains sculptural.  I have taken a great many pictures of a great many bodies, most heroic in shape and build but all have a quiet something that makes them special.  Note cards, calendars and posters have happened.  A collection of my work published as the book SHADOWLIGHT .  An exhibit of my work took place in 2009 in San Francisco at the Renner Gallery (now defunct, they never last).  My models have been featured on local Minneapolis television, interviewed on local news and chat show... they attract attention.

 I wrote an episode of the CBS television series Beauty and the Beast called When the Blue Bird Sings ... about a mysterious and enigmatic  artist who pursues Catherine to model for him...
