I modelled for some insertion shots with glass dildos recently but - without a lot of photoshop - I was disappointed at the lack of internal refraction in the glass. Obviously shooting the glass while inserted is very different from shooting the glass on its own and the lighting has to be different accordingly. Also I prefer to model to low-key lighting as it works better with my body-type.
So how do you light the glass effectively while maintaining a low-key setup? Does the glass have to have its own keylight? Does anybody have any techniques they could share please?
Also, does anybody have any idea for poses to make the work more interesting?
