I know that I am very far away from most people on this site but still seeing people 1000miles away as near me is VERY annoying. I would prefer to see the 3 people that really are close to me than to see a list of people so far away I will never be able to shoot with them. This works for every similar functionality on the site.
Even when searching models on the map it shows me hundreds of models in the UK and almost nothing in continental europe. As I said earlier this is not fooling anyone and is more of a nuisance than anything else.
