Hi everyone!
I have a couple of ideas for popular channels on YouTube with talented, glamorous models as hosts. My idea is start by creating some "proof of concept" content on a straightforward paid-shoot basis. It would especially suit models who are confident about talking to camera on video - and interested in the prospect of developing a profitable sideline which generates regular income.
Although I've specified London as a location, this is primarily for initial, trial shoots. If these channels take off, the content can be created wherever it best suits the participating hosts - so wherever you live, if this project appeals to you, please get in touch!
One idea is for a lifestyle channel called "bikini living". It would feature short videos on fun topics like health, fitness, fashion and travel... In which the regular presenters always wear bikinis. Can you imagine that being quite popular? Smile This would suit confident, articulate models with swimwear modelling experience and an active interest in the lifestyle topics the show will cover.
Another idea is for a channel about modelling, called "model stories". It would need to be hosted by an experienced, highly successful model - possibly someone now retired, or semi-retired, from regular modelling work. The idea is to provide a source of much needed advice for aspiring amateur or professional models, including interviews with models working in different sectors of the industry.
I think both of these ideas, if implemented well, could quickly attract an a very large audience - and therefore, generate revenues not only from YouTube ad revenue but also from things like merch, sponsorship deals and Patreon support.
If this all works out well, my idea is that the hosts of these channels would be major partners in the business, benefiting from its success - but I'm not asking anyone to gamble their time and effort on this. I'm the only one taking a risk here, and I think it's worth it! So, until these ideas are up and running, I will pay participating models for their time. Also, I don't expect anyone who agrees to an initial shoot to make any commitment to doing this regularly - but of course, it's going to help if you're open to doing that, if the project gets off the ground!
Right now, I can't say exactly when I'll be ready to launch this project - but hopefully I'll be available to start booking some initial trial shoots sometime in June or July. In the meantime, let me know if you're interested, in principle - and feel free to ask me any questions!
Andrew
