First shoot with Oli and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Pre-shoot communication was outstanding; clear, reliable and professional throughout, making everything straightforward and easy to organise.

He’s friendly, easy to talk to and creates a very comfortable working atmosphere. Oli shoots using a rangefinder camera and takes real care with each setup, putting thought into composition, lighting and detail rather than rushing through shots. His approach feels very intentional and creative, and it shows in the final results. The black and white images he produces are genuinely beautiful, with a strong sense of mood, style and quality.

Throughout the shoot he was consistently respectful and professional, while also giving plenty of clear and confident direction. He had a strong vision for what he wanted to achieve and communicated it very well, which made the session flow smoothly and made it easy to work collaboratively towards the final images.

Overall, a very professional photographer with a clear artistic eye and an enjoyable way of working. I’d happily recommend Oli to anyone looking for a thoughtful, skilled and reliable photographer.

I had the best time shooting with Maleghast during my recent tour in Scotland!

Even though I wasn’t feeling 100% that day, his warm, friendly vibe made me feel comfortable the moment he walked through the door.

I loved how prepared he was... he came in with a strong vision but was still super open to my own creative input.

The whole shoot was such a breath of fresh air! Lots of laughs, great energy, and a truly collaborative creative process.

Most importantly, he was a total professional who made sure I felt respected and at ease the entire time.

I’m so happy we got to work together, and I’m already looking forward to the next time! Highly recommend!

I had my first shoot with this wonderful photographer in early October during my Glasgow tour. The pre-shoot communications were spot on and he insured that I understood all of the levels required and was happy with the payment amount before booking. He arrived on time with plenty of equipment and creative ideas. He was polite and professional throughout. He never pushed levels or made me feel uncomfortable at any point! Together we created some beautiful images and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together. All in all he is an incredibly talented and sweet gentleman and I look forward to hopefully working with him again before my retirement!

I had the pleasure of shooting on location with Maleghast one evening in a soft BG duo with Joely. We discussed the shoot thoroughly in advance over e-mail and I always found him to be polite, thoughtful and well organised. Despite a few last minute hiccups we all arrived at the location in good time and made the absolute best of the opportunity. Malghast was always clear about what he wanted, ready to direct when needed but also eager to embrace input from his models. The whole thing was relaxed, comfortable and appropriately respectful. Afterwards he very kindly shared images from the shoot which I'm delighted with. In short I would happily recommend Maleghast to anyone and I would be delighted to work with him again.
