I had the great privilege of working with Mya on an Art Nude project where we were looking to recreate/redefine themes revolving around classic figures from Greek mythology, gods and goddesses. What particular impressed me was that even though for Mya this amounted to a very different shoot to what we she worked on previously she nevertheless gave great input and added stand out suggestions using her background in performing arts to bring real meaning to the poses.
The shoot definitely benefited from excellent pre-comms and even though I did my best to be thorough Mya asked all the right questions which me to clarify the aim of the shoot and thus get her enthusiastic buy-in . We gelled well for our very knowledgeable and polite photographer Paul aka Searider who set the studio up well for us. Mya's chaperone was also extremely friendly and supportive and joined with some of my corny jokes.
But overall I believe we all concluded a very different shoot and each of us extended our boundaries and experience which can only be beneficial
I would absolutely work with Mya again and would highly recommend her to other professionals, she is very genuine and hard working with the camera

Mya was absolutely perfect for the shoot we organised. She brought all the outfits I chose, and every single one suited the role perfectly. Her performing background really shone through and helped her ace every aspect of the shoot. She is a beautifully talented performer. Her chaperone was also very respectful throughout the entire shoot and easy to get along with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend

Another incredulous shoot with Mya, absolutely spot on with pre comms. Great captures of images, Mya understood the assignment. I cannot praise her enough. Very professional and very easy to work with, personality matches the work ethic and down to earth aura which she brings to the shoot, excellent with taking directions. The progression with each shoot we've had to together has been superb. Her chaperone is very relaxed and understands what we were trying to achieve, I appreciated them again being her support during the shoot. The results will be worth the while and I can't wait to share them with Mya. 1000% would recommend any photographer who hasn't been in touch with her yet, to do so immediately!

A wonderful shoot with MJ, pre communications was top tier, we both understood the assignment on what we wanted to achieve during the shoot. It was a calm and smooth going shoot. MJ has great potential with understanding direction in getting the right angles. Her chaperone who she brought along was a delight, respectful and very easy going to talk to as well during the time. We all understood each other boundaries and the day was a success in capturing what we wanted. Highly recommended. I would love to work with her again.

Had a fantastic shoot with Mya Jay and thoroughly enjoyed working together. She's friendly, professional and incredibly easy to work with. Confident in front of the camera, she creates a great variety of poses and expressions, takes direction well and also brings plenty of her own creative ideas to the shoot. Every session has been relaxed, enjoyable and very productive, resulting in some fantastic images. I'd happily recommend Mya Jay to any photographer looking to collaborate, and I'm excited to work with her again in the future.

Had a shoot with this lovely model today, really enjoyed myself. communication before the shoot was fantastic.

Checking in with outfit ideas she had to go with the theme, she was a massive help. Great personality and really chatty with a friendly positive demeanour. She made loads of effort not only travelling all the way to the shoot from north but during the shoot too.

I cannot recommend this model enough. Mya is very professional and proactive in her communication, ideas for the shoot and arranging the shoot. Also, punctuality is big for me and she delivered on getting there well before the shoot and being energetic to produce some great images.

Mya brought along fantastic outfits for the photoshoot and was very prepared.

She has great poses and possesses a fantastic look.

I'm so glad to have worked with Mya twice now.
