When I first started discussing a shoot with Alex, I was at a very specific point in my modelling journey. I was expanding my levels and beginning to include POV and open-leg work in my portfolio. Naturally, this was something that required a great deal of trust, clear communication and mutual respect.

From the very beginning, Alex’s communication was outstanding. Everything was clear, professional and straightforward. There was never any pressure, never any expectations placed on me beyond what I was comfortable with. Instead, he created an environment where I felt completely free to decide how far I wanted to go creatively and when.

What impressed me most was his ability to create space. Space to breathe, to relax, to trust, and ultimately to open up in front of the camera. Rather than pushing for specific images, he allowed the shoot to evolve naturally. The result was a collection of photographs that felt authentic, powerful and deeply personal.

Before we moved into the more intimate parts of the shoot, we spent a long time talking together on the terrace. Not small talk, but genuine conversation. Those conversations built a level of trust that carried through the entire session and had a visible impact on the photographs we created afterwards.

The portraits we produced together remain some of my favourites. There is a depth and honesty in them that is difficult to achieve. The more intimate images were approached with the same professionalism, sensitivity and respect, which allowed me to create work I am genuinely proud of.

For personal reasons, Alex remains the only photographer with whom I shoot POV imagery. That alone says more than any review could.

Since that first session, our collaboration has continued to evolve. We have explored completely different photographic styles in his studio, and today our creative journey has taken us all the way to Erdeven on the Atlantic coast of France.

Looking back, what started as a single photoshoot became a long-term creative collaboration built on trust, communication and artistic understanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend Alex to any model looking for a photographer who combines professionalism, respect and the rare ability to bring out something real in front of the camera.
