This season has been a been a season of contrasts, either being patient or jump in while you have a chance!

My shoot with Gemma was six years in the making, but the patience payed off in an exceptional shoot, well except for the rain!

Gemma organised the shoot at Far Forest Studio, and once she got into my style of photography there was no stopping her!

Thanks Gemma for some cracking images and a little video or two, concluding in the studio's new hot tub to warm up.

Great shoot Gemma and I will be sorting out another shoot when the weather improves.

When you organise a shoot, sometimes an opportunity falls into your lap, as the shoot with Bella did at Far Forest Studio.
What an opportunity it was too, as she is a great model to work with, taking direction well as if she had modeled for years.
The results proved better than I hoped for and I will certainly be looking forward to our next encounter.

It is always touch and go when you choose a model for a particular shoot, and as a result some shoots are good, some brilliant, and occasionally you have an exceptional shoot, as was my shoot with Phoenix.
The resulting images say a lot for this models professionalism, as the percentage of great shots was high, leaving me with the realisation I had selected the right model for the job.
As expected the coms etc was very good and the way Phoenix adapted to the location showed her experience in the art.
I will be looking forward to doing another shoot with her . Well done and thanks.

After emerging from the winter's shooting hibernation you need a positive start to the new season, so finding a model to boost the confidence, and get you back on track is important.
Suzanna was that person, and on a beautiful spring day in a wonderful location what more of a start to the season could you have.
As to the pictures from the shoot; well they were just what I was looking for and Suzanna's input made many of them better than I could have hoped for.
Her enthusiasm was infectious, and I would highly recommend her and I hope a future booking is more than a possibility.

I recently did a shoot with Sunny, and was amazed how this new model worked, so I had no hesitation in calling her for an important shoot, which was client led.

As before the usual the pre-shoot details were very good.

I matched Sunny with a male model to create a couple, and she fitted the roll with little effort making for some very good images, in fact better than hoped.

I will most definitely be doing another shoot with this exceptional model, and almost certainly another duo shoot with the other model too.

It was 3 years ago that I first put MJay in the viewfinders of the Nikons, so I thought it was about time to see how she had matured.
A good wine or fine Port take a time to mature so it seems do models; well MJay anyway. Another brilliant shoot in a lovely garden covering many different sets, on a day made for photography.
MJay will most certainly be on my list for future shoots.

Sometimes when to see a model that is just starting out in the industry, but fits perfectly the requirements of a shoot, you have to take a chance; as I did with Sunny.
I shouldn't have worried as she communicated very well, learnt very quickly and at the end of the shoot she would be ranked towards the top of my best models list.
A fantastic model to work with and the pictures show that. I know that Sunny will be in very high demand when the word gets out!!
So now I can relax and catch up on the sleepless night worrying about the choice. Oh, and re-book her before the rush starts.

They say a good wine gets better with age.
About 4 years ago I did a shoot with Bethany when she was very new to solo modeling, so the chance to catch up was too good a chance to miss.
She is still the same bubbly person and working with her was an absolute privilege.
Totally professional and her skills highly polished, which has shown in the finished images.
I wont be leaving it another 4 years to organise another shoot, and the wine? It's defiantly improved.
