Glamour modelling is a style of modelling in which the models are often portrayed in erotic poses, ranging from fully to partially clothed, up to and including nude. It may also involve modelling alongside other male and female models in various states of undress, and so it's important to clarify the exact nature of the glamour work early on in your shoot discussions.
Glamour modelling is typically studio based – often heavily or solely focusing on the model and less so on the background and surroundings. As a result, glamour images are typically quite bright in lighting style to help place extra focus on the model.
Glamour imagery is more often taken with a commercial focus or intent, such as magazines, and calendars.
